Here at Extreme Earthworks, our approach is simple.  We do the job right the first time so that we don't have to do it a second time.  We use a "common sense" method with the mentality that NOTHING is impossible, and there is a solution to every problem.

Extreme Earthworks has been in business since 2014 and was originally started in Northern Kentucky, just across the Ohio River south of Cincinnati.  Life was good in that region, and the entire states of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana were part of the territory, with ventures into Pennsylvania and Tennessee.  In late 2016 though, a decision was made to relocate the entire company to Northern Georgia, redirecting the coverage area to Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  This was a wise move, and will be the permanent home of the Company for a long time.

The President and Owner of Extreme Earthworks is Ken Gouchenour, a U.S. Army Combat Veteran who has been an entrepreneur since he was a child.  Although Ken is originally from Washington State, he was stationed in Georgia in the late 90's, and has wanted to return to the area ever since.  This, combined with the regulatory climate, along with the abundance of construction, not to mention just a good place to be were all part of the deciding factor.  It was not a difficult decision.

Prior to starting Extreme Earthworks, Ken spent about 10 years moving all around the world, to include living and working in Germany, Texas, Arizona, Alabama, Washington, and Utah.  While in the Army, he spent his time in Georgia, North Carolina, Germany, Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, and trained in many other countries and states.  With experience in multiple positions in the construction trades, Ken worked his way from a Laborer, to an Operator, Foreman to a Superintendent, and even held the position as a Company Safety Manager before deciding to break away and start his own Company.

Since that day, Ken has NEVER looked back, and he has been able to maintain a solid pace with a controlled and calculated growth pattern.  While some Construction Companies take several months off in the winter time, Ken has figured out ways to keep people busy all throughout the year.  Most importantly though, it is projected that by the year 2022, Extreme Earthworks will be capable of performing work in any region of America, and possibly even beyond.  Being successful is not just a goal for us at Extreme Earthworks, it is a way of life.

Favorite Motto: If you're not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem...

Ken's Mission Statement

It is Extreme Earthworks goal to provide the absolute best service in construction, hands down.  This includes every aspect of the trade, from the cleanliness of our sites, to the professionalism of our employees, to the way that we pile our dirt.  We take pride in our expertise and abilities in this trade, and we prove our skills on every job.  This is not to brag, and it is not to say that we "are the best backhoe on this side of the Mississippi"... It is a simple statement letting you know that if there is a project to be completed, we can complete it.  This is my rule of excellence, and I will tolerate nothing less.  I am confident that you will not be disappointed.
